Remember when you had the energy, stamina, and mental clarity to take on the world?

Maybe that was in your teens, or twenties – you know, before work got too demanding, the kids came along, and socializing over a yummy-but-less-than-nutritious meal became the Friday night norm. Probably before you discovered beer.

But, here we are …

Nowhere near over-the-hill, young in spirit, but yet somehow not what we used to be.

I know that feeling because just a few years ago, while standing in line at my Whole Foods about to purchase dinner (meatloaf, mac-and-cheese, and green beans!), I looked into a mirror near the register and caught a glimpse of a familiar stranger.

For a brief fraction of a second, I didn’t recognize myself. I felt terrible. Even sick, wondering what happened to the me I used to know.

Little did I know that my life was about to take a terrible turn. Less than ten days later I was stunned from my sleep and my life transformed when an SUV ran through my home and literally hit me in bed.

Yes, I was hurt (the worst part was post-concussive syndrome). For brevity’s sake, I’ll save the details for future posts.

I lived in a haze for years: overweight, with high blood-pressure, poor night vision, no energy, and probably headed for an early death. Oh, and I had Crohn’s Disease().

This is why I sometimes say that ‘juicing may have saved my life.’

In future blogs you’ll learn how, at the very least, juicing (twice a day) gave me back my health, energy and mental clarity.

Today, I’m at a healthy weight(), am able to exercise regularly, have good blood pressure and enjoy more energy and stamina than I’ve had in two decades … and I believe it’s because I started juicing raw vegetables and fruits.

Without any doubt, juicing changed my life!

And, I’ll wager that if you juice twice a day, it can change your life, too!
