My mango wisdom is limited to my much loved Pickering. I know her well and I know when the fruit is ripe for picking.
I planted a Honey Kiss a few years back and this year she produced about 3 dozen mangos. In appearance they are quite different than the Pickering. What I see so far is some yellow coloration on the shoulder area, with the rest of the fruit still green. What should I look for as an indicator the fruit is ready to pick?
