Wendy’s introduces the new Pretzel Baconator as a limited-time variant of one of the chain’s signature burgers–the Baconator.
The Pretzel Baconator is mostly the same as regular Baconator–two quarter-pound beef patties, American cheese, six pieces of applewood-smoked bacon, ketchup, and mayo–only with a toasted pretzel bun instead of the chain’s premium bun.
While the Pretzel Baconator is a new item, you could have gotten it when the Pretzel Bacon Pub Cheeseburger was still around by ordering a Baconator with a pretzel bun.
The Baconator name appears on a few items on the regular Wendy’s menu. Besides the original Baconator, there’s the smaller Son of Baconator, Breakfast Baconator, and Baconator Fries.
Prices vary but the Pretzel Baconator costs $9.39 near me in the Los Angeles area, whereas the regular Baconator is $8.39, which amounts to a $1 premium for the pretzel bun.
