Step 2: Grilling The Brats

Put the brats onto the grill and cook for 16-18 minutes, turning them every 2-3 minutes to ensure they cook evenly. When they reach 155°F, they are ready to come off the grill.

Step 4: Toasting The Buns

Place the cut side down on the grill and cook for 30-45 seconds.

Step 5: Build Your Brat

Take the hot buns and coat mustards on the bottom. Place a bratwurst in the bun and top with your favorite condiments, we like to have sauerkraut and seeded mustard.

How Long to Grill Bratwursts

Grilling a bratwurst typically takes 16-18 minutes. Start by placing the sausages on the indirect heat side of your grill. Cook for 16-18 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 150-155°F. Finish cooking on the direct heat side for 1-2 minutes for a crisp exterior.
