A&W brings back the Quarter Pound Cod Sandwich for a limited time at participating restaurants in time for the 2024 fast food Lent/seafood season.
A&W’s Quarter Pound Cod Sandwich consists of a crispy-fried quarter-pound cod filet served with tartar sauce, shredded lettuce, and pickles on a toasted bun.
The sandwich is featured as part of a combo with fries and a frosty mug of A&W Root Beer.
While it might be better known for the brand of root beer you find in stores, A&W is the oldest still existing restaurant chain in the US. It first opened in doors in 1919.
